JAN DANCE PHOTOGRAPHY Exhibition – May 2019

Kindred Art Space is proud to hold this exciting exhibition by local artist – Jan Dance.

Supporting MND Victoria, Jan dedicates all her exhibitions to her sister who died from Motor Neurone Disease (MND).  Jan donates to this worthy cause through the sales from her exhibitions including this one!

“I became interested in photography as a young girl and got my first camera when I was only 7 years old, my mother was also a passionate photographer and many weekends were spent competing with her for the best shots.”

I do not Photoshop any of my images so the magnificent colours you see in my photography are exactly as I saw them through my lens.

I live on the Mornington Peninsula where oceans, landscapes, nature and wildlife are in abundance. I call the Peninsula a photographers dream playground. Storms and lightning are the most complex to capture and I will wait for hours to get that perfect storm image.

“I am fortunate to be able to exhibit my images and have dedicated all exhibitions to my sister, Sue Whyte, who sadly passed away from Motor Neurone Disease in October 2011. This has enabled me, through my sales, to donate to MND Victoria which provides and promotes the best possible care and support for people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).”
